Yeah u are back!!

Just last week, i bump into one of my old time punter and he complained he cant get me on the number which i gave on my last post. He said he was instead, directed to this Mas Selamat hotline.

Ah Tan: "Hi can i find Hao?"
Hotline: "What Hao?? We are only interested in Mas Selamat."
Ah Tan: "Whats that? Oh i only interested in bookie tips."
Hotline: "Then sorry u got the wrong number."

I must say, Mas Selamat has saved this Ah Tan's backside. If not for him, that person on the phone would have tracked him down and put behind bars. It seems like words from the lips of everyone are revolving round this Mas Selamat guy.

In case u are so oblivious to local current affairs, let me tell u first hand whats all the commotion about. Mas Selamat, one of the members of terrorist group Jemaah Islamiah, has escaped from one of Singapore's "Lo Kat", and is out there enjoying himself. He has been, in the past, accused of planning to hijack a plane and crash it into our iconic changi airport. Now, that will definitely send shivers down your backbone.

A lot of speculations about his whereabouts have been made. Some claimed he had already fled to nearby indonesia islands while other absurd ones said he was still hiding inside that toilet where he was first reported to have gone missing. But of course, chances of nabbing him look dimmer with every second passes.

It seems very ironic that several days ago, the opportunity to stage the inaugural Youth Olympics has been presented to Singapore, partly due to the "safe and secure" environment which our country possesses. If this same decision were to be made again next month, who knows there may be a twist to the outcome?

But anyway, lets all hope that this terrifying terror terrorist can appear on our tv screens handcuffed again asap. Taking morning trains, by then, wont be that nervy anymore.
